– Your apartment is located on the ground floor – although there are one or two steps.
– The self-contained one-bedroom apartment has a huge north-facing courtyard where you can laze about and soak up the sun in privacy on the day bed or egg chair. If you get too hot, the misters are a surefire way to cool down on a hot day.
– Enter the apartment via a digital door lock (no keys for your stay – how convenient!)
– Outdoor shower, there’s nothing quite like it; soak up the sun down at Scarborough beach and then enjoy the beautiful copper and bronze shower offering both hot and cold water!
– Misters, the courtyard featuring a beautiful deck has water misters fitted to help you cool while you soak up the sun.
– The outdoor dining nook is lovely and is complete with a dining table & chairs.
– The lounge space is comfortable and inviting. Offering a huge 77″ OLED wall-mounted TV with Netflix and Prime, a coffee table, and a lounge with a chaise. There is also a split system capable of heating & cooling this space all year round.
– The kitchen is a beautiful and homely space. Offering plenty of cupboard and bench space, it comes fully stocked & equipped, perfect for short or long stays. Offering an induction electric oven with 4 x electric hot plates, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Nespresso pod coffee machine, and full-sized fridge/freezer.
– There are also 2 x breakfast bar stools located to the kitchen breakfast bar.
– The bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, bedside tables/lamps to either side, a full-length mirror, and a wardrobe for your belongings. You can enjoy a dedicated study desk with a lamp and chair.

Guest access
The apartment is on the entire ground floor with separate private access via a side gate. We live in the apartment above but you won’t notice we’re there, your apartment is completely self-contained with your own entrance. If you need anything, we are a knock or phone call away, otherwise, we respect your privacy.
As well as the apartment you have access to the beautiful north-facing courtyard with a daybed, outdoor dining, egg chair, outdoor showers and misters, it’s all yours during your stay.
There’s also a parking bay just outside available to you throughout your stay.
Other things to note
All guests are required to read and adhere to the house rules. All guests will receive a house manual on check-in that contains all relevant information you may need for your stay.
Check-in is any time after 3 pm, Please ask if you wish to arrive earlier or drop bags off and we can see if we can arrange that for you.
Check-out time is before 11 a.m.
Any damages/breakages or ruined linen/towels should be advised of immediately.
No parties or large gatherings – This apartment is on the ground floor with an apartment just above on a lovely quiet street, we respect our neighbors and politely ask for no parties or outside guests.
No pets allowed.

The apartment is a short walk to the beach; you can easily get to the coastline in an 8-minute walk, alternatively, you can drive in about 1 minute. Scarborough also offers scooter rentals to help get you about.

What our guests say
The location is fantastic, with great restaurants and the beach just a short walk away. We enjoyed peaceful evenings on the deck and made use of the outdoor shower, really enjoyed that. Scarborough is a short walk away and there’s a bus stop just a couple of minutes away too. I can’t recommend Scarb Stays enough, we had a great time and were sorry to leave but it was the perfect ‘mid-term’ rental while we got ourselves into a 12-month lease nearby.
